Why We Built This Site
Indiana permits broad public access to many court records, yet the correct custodian still matters. The elected Clerk of the Starke Circuit Court maintains Circuit Court case files and the Chronological Case Summary, while Knox City Court keeps its own misdemeanor, infraction, and ordinance files. Indiana MyCase brings public search data from both courts into one statewide portal. We organize the verified contacts, cause-number patterns, calendar routes, and request steps that help distinguish those sources.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: ways to search and read Starke County criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Court dates and settings: where the Starke court calendar appears and how to confirm a setting
- Case lookups: steps for a name or cause-number case search in Indiana MyCase
- Record requests: routes for obtaining court records or certified copies from the proper clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, with no affiliation to an Indiana court, clerk, or government agency. Those limits mean we cannot:
- Retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- Set, move, cancel, or confirm a hearing date
- Amend, seal, or remove an entry from a court docket
- Certify a docket, order, copy, or filed document
- Offer legal advice about how a case affects someone
- Promise that each listed fee, setting, or contact remains current
An official or certified docket or record must come from the clerk or court that heard the case. This resource can identify that office but cannot issue its documents.
Search Partners
Independent providers power search boxes found on some content pages. A provider controls its own service, results, and prices. We may receive a referral fee if use of a tool leads to a paid signup, which supports free access to this reference material. We do not set partner charges or decide what their searches return.
