Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool goes directly to the outside provider operating it. That provider processes the query and returns results. Starke County Court Docket does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept as needed to answer it. Messages stay within the operating team unless a valid legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the servers may receive these technical details:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They and analytics services measure aggregate traffic, popular pages, and exit points. A browser can block cookies, although that choice may change how some features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Starke County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell databases of court dockets or personal case information. It gives general directions to the Clerk of the Starke Circuit Court, Starke Circuit Court, Knox City Court, and Indiana MyCase. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices, not this policy. Review those terms before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Indiana courts, clerk resources, legal-aid groups, or independent search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy terms apply. Read them before providing personal details.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across sites for interest-based ads.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices protect collected information. No internet service is completely secure, so an unauthorized disclosure can never be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. Information known to have been submitted by a minor will be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Indiana privacy and consumer-protection law may provide additional rights. Indiana's Access to Public Records Act, Indiana Code 5-14-3, and the Indiana Access to Court Records Rules govern access to official government and judicial records, not visitor data on this private site. At a minimum, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A new version will appear here with an updated effective date, so visitors should review it from time to time.
